The Prototype is Online! - Hello there!


This is my very first upload to itch.io and also my first published prototype ever. I am a bit excited but not too much because i don’t expect anything to happen…

Last week I started working on this just for fun and combined some mechanics I previously saw or i thought of on the run. My graphics are very basic because, well, it’s a prototype and I never had some graphical skills before.

Until now I have made some progress.
So far I have:

  • the core mechanics as movement, the juice bar (limits a jump), diffrent items, deadly obstacles, diffrent kinds of platforms, a score and highscore system, a randomly generated stage with increasing difficulty
  • a pause as well as a death screen
  • a basic main menu

I still miss:

  • artwork
  • animations
  • particles
  • post processing
  • sounds
  • polished UI
  • power-up / shop system ???

Until now for the short amount of time and the low (no) level of skills I had before, I am satisfied with the results. I will keep learning and increasing my skills to upgrade the game. This journey just started! Who knows, maybe we’ll see this game on an appstore or for sale?

My plan is to develop this hyper-casual game for PC and then turn it into a mobile game. I am willing to improve myself and to work hard to bring this game somewhere!
